This is an important message from Kingston K-14 School District. Due to the winter weather we have received, there will be no school tomorrow, Monday January 26th. We expect that we will probably miss multiple days this week and will do our best to notify our families as early as possible each day as we work to make our campus safe and to check progress on road conditions. Career Day gives students a chance to learn more about careers that they have little information about or have skills or interests in. This event will help students start thinking more in depth about what they want to do as adults and what it takes to get there. There are numerous benefits to having career-focused programs in schools to prepare students for their futures with the hope that perhaps their road to a career will be a bit easier. We hope that you can help us teach our students about the many opportunities that await them.
The Mobile Market is canceled for Tuesday, January 27, due to the forecasted frigid temperatures. Ensuring the safety of our patrons, volunteers, and student volunteers is our top priority. The Great Kindness Challenge Spirit Week!
An Unforgettable Musical Experience!
On Thursday, January 15th, the Kingston Jr. High and High School Special Olympics team, along with Ms. AuBuchon’s class, had the privilege of attending an educational performance titled Beethoven 7 Unpacked at the Saint Louis Symphony Orchestra at Powell Hall.
Our students were beyond excited to experience this incredible opportunity, engaging with live orchestral music in such a beautiful and inspiring setting. It was a truly meaningful and memorable day for all involved!
