Message from Kingston Superintendent Dr. Golden:
We are thankful that it seems that there were no fatalities or major injuries in yesterday’s storm, but we do know that several families lost their homes or had extensive damage and experienced a very traumatic event. If your family has suffered a loss in the storm and is in need of assistance, please reach out to our school at 573-438-4982 and let us know how we can help.

🌟 A HUGE thank you to Patterson Well Drilling for their generous donation to the Kingston Special Olympics! 🌟
Your support helps us continue to create inclusive, life-changing opportunities for individuals with disabilities. Thanks to you, our athletes are empowered to achieve their dreams and create lasting memories through the power of sports. 🏅💙
We are truly grateful for your commitment to making a positive impact in our community. Together, we’re building a world of inclusion, and we couldn’t do it without incredible partners like you! 🙌

We are closely and continuously monitoring the weather today and have our students' and staff's safety as our number one priority. With this in mind, all after school practices and activities, including Cougar College, softball and the band event, are canceled. As of now, we intend to complete a full day of school and transport all students home at regular time. We will keep the community and our families informed of any changes.

Today in Kingston Sports:
Our JH Baseball Team has their home opener this evening vs Park Hills Central, 4:00 start.

Kingston School District is pleased to announce the Kingston Community Teacher Association, is hosting a "Meet and Greet" event for the candidates running for the Kingston K-14 Board of Education. The event will take place on Thursday, April 3rd, 2025 beginning at 5:30 pm at Kingston High School Library. The event is free and open to the public.
This community-oriented event offers local residents an opportunity to meet the candidates, ask questions, and learn about their platforms, priorities, and vision for the future of the school district. Attendees will have the chance to engage in informal conversations with the candidates and hear firsthand about their ideas for improving education, supporting students and teachers, and strengthening the community.
“Public involvement in the school board election process is critical to ensuring that our education system reflects the values and needs of the community. Thank you to our KCTA for sponsoring and organizing this event.” said Dr. Mike Golden, Superintendent, Kingston K-14 School District. “We encourage all parents, educators, and concerned community members to come out, meet the candidates, and make an informed decision when it’s time to vote.”
The event will feature brief introductions by each candidate, followed by an open forum for a short Q&A. Refreshments will be provided, and attendees are encouraged to come prepared with any questions they may have about the candidates' qualifications and plans for the school district.
Event Details:
• Date: Thursday, April 3rd, 2025
• Time: 5:30 pm
