Due to icy road conditions and further precipitation on the way combined with freezing temperatures, there will be no school in the Kingston K-14 School District, tomorrow, December 2nd. Decisions on after school practices and activities will be made by mid-day tomorrow dependent upon road conditions at that time.

Student drivers will be released slightly earlier at 12:45 pm. This will allow each of them to take their time on the roads and not be out at the same time as bus dismissal.

Due to inclement weather, Kingston K-14 is dismissing all grade levels at 1:15. We are also cancelling all after school programs, games and practices, including Cougar College. We apologize for the short notice, this was a forecast that has changed from earlier in the day.

This year marks Kingston K-14 School District’s 10th year participating in our Pumpkin Pie Community Service Project. Our FCCLA chapter and HS FACS students would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Rowe Farms, Save A Lot, Harps Grocery Store, and every individual who donated pumpkins. Your generosity made this year’s project possible. This tradition remains one of our favorite ways to give back to our School board members, administrators, JH/HS teachers and to the community who faithfully supports our school district year after year. We appreciate everything you do, and we are truly grateful for the partnerships that make hands-on learning and service projects like this so meaningful.

From the farm to the table, here are a few photos that highlight the hard work, teamwork, and love that go into every Pumpkin Pie and Pie-in-the-Bag. Wishing everyone a wonderful and blessed Thanksgiving! 🧡🍂🥧

Christmas Concert 2025!
We had a fire alarm that went off at the JH/HS campus. We evacuated the buildings effectively and efficiently. There is no fire and no danger, it was a false alarm. We just wanted to reassure all families in case you hear about the alarm and evacuation.- Dr. Golden

On Friday, November 14, 2025, Kingston students proudly participated in the Job Olympics in Farmington, MO.
Students competed in a variety of life-skills events, including interviewing, completing forms, vacuuming, table setting, and wiping tables. We are incredibly proud to share that our students earned medals in every event!

Our Kingston team also received a $50 Wal-Mart gift card, which will be used to support materials for our life-skills classroom. Great job to all of our hardworking students!

Our F.A.R.M.S - Mobile Market is today, Tuesday, November 11, at 12:00 PM.
Please do not arrive on campus before 11:00 AM to prevent cars from blocking regular school traffic.
All Kingston residents in need are welcome, regardless of whether or not they have students in school.
PLEASE NOTE: As the F.A.R.M.S. Mobile Market continues to grow, at least one member from each household must be present on distribution day to sign for their family. Thank you

Please take a look at the amazing lunch our PK-5 students received today; their happy faces speak volumes.

Lunch today at our Primary/Elementary School. Serving up scoops of love, one meal at a time!
Our PK-5 students get to choose 1 out of the 3 main entrees, 2 out of 6 veggie options, 1 out of the 6 fruit options, as well as their choice of milk and condiments..

This is an important message from Kingston K-14 School District for families with a student who rides bus 7. If your child does not ride bus 7, you may disregard this message.

We are experiencing overcrowding on our bus 7 route, and with the enrollment of additional students this week we need to make an immediate change to our afternoon route only. All students who live on Old Prairie Road will now ride bus 20 home in the afternoon only. Dropoff times will be the same for these students.

All other students who are assigned to bus 7 and who DO NOT live on Old Prairie Road will continue to ride bus 7 in the afternoon, but they will be arriving home up to 15 minutes earlier than their previous drop off time due to the split of the route.

We appreciate your understanding as we make this necessary change. We will continue to monitor and assess ridership numbers and will inform you of any further changes. Once again, as of now this will only affect our afternoon route; our morning route for bus 7 will remain unchanged.

Our students took chemistry outside the classroom today to witness an incredible thermite reaction demonstration! They watched as aluminum and iron oxide combined to create a burst of light, heat, and molten metal — a perfect way to see chemical reactions (and the power of chemistry!) up close.
