Prom is Saturday!

🔍🕵️♀️ Learning comes to life in Mrs. Logan-Hollis’s middle school classroom!
Students are diving into an exciting CSI-themed unit where they step into the roles of investigators. From analyzing a mock crime scene to interviewing witnesses and carefully examining evidence, students are building critical thinking and problem-solving skills every step of the way.
This hands-on experience not only keeps students engaged, but also helps them apply science, reasoning, and teamwork to solve the mystery and uncover the “culprit.”
It’s amazing to see such creativity and real-world learning happening in our classrooms. Great work, Mrs. Logan-Hollis and students! 👏

Today we celebrate two incredible leaders who make a difference in our school every single day! 💚
A huge THANK YOU to our amazing Assistant Principals, Mr. Matt Merseal and Mrs. Suzanne Merklin, for your dedication, leadership, and unwavering support of our students and staff. Your hard work does not go unnoticed, and we are so grateful for everything you do to make our school a better place.
Please join us in showing appreciation for these outstanding educators! 👏

Today we celebrate the quiet heroes who keep curiosity alive—our librarians 📚✨
Thank you for being guides through endless shelves of knowledge, for helping us find exactly what we didn’t even know we were looking for, and for creating spaces where everyone is welcome to learn, explore, and grow.
In a world full of noise, you help us discover meaning. In a world full of questions, you help us find answers.
Happy Librarian Appreciation Day to the keepers of stories, champions of literacy, and protectors of knowledge 💛

Kingston will again be serving as a polling location for our community for tomorrow's election, April 7, 2026.
The location on campus for voting, however, will be different than it has been for past elections. Voting will be held in the foyer of our high school gymnasium instead of the bus garage. There will be signage directing community members to the entrance for the polls.
Community members coming to vote will not have access to any other parts of the school campus other than the foyer area and students will not have access to the polling area.
Kingston Junior High was excited to welcome Mr. Hunter Ives from Belgrade State Bank this week! He visited Mrs. Thomas’s 7th grade Family and Consumer Sciences classes and shared helpful information about careers in banking, education requirements, and real-world financial skills.
Students got hands-on experience learning how to write checks, complete deposit slips, and fill out withdrawal forms. Mr. Hunter also kept things fun with a creative (but impossible!) bank vault scenario that had everyone laughing!
It was a great learning experience for all students. Thank you, Mr. Hunter, for your time and support!
Fun Fact: Mr. Hunter was a student in Mrs. Thomas's class 17 years ago when she taught 4th grade at Valley R-6!
Check out some photos from his visit!
