Did you know your child could receive free meals this summer for the weekends? On Thursday afternoons, we will send home meals with all students enrolled in summer school. If your child is not enrolled in the summer school program here at Kingston, please click on the attached link and fill out the form for Non-Congregate meal pick-up, before Monday, May 26 at 9:00 AM https://forms.gle/c1LxHq4xeo3fC76c7 This opportunity will only last until June 25. We will post a new form weekly for families to sign up. The form must be completed each week before Monday morning at 9:00 AM. Pick-up is on Thursday, May 29, 2025, at 1:15 PM. A parent or guardian must pick up these meals. Pick-up is located in the back of the Primary Gym.

Important message from Kingston Superintendent Dr. Mike Golden: We have been closely monitoring the weather forecast for this afternoon. Out of an abundance of caution, we are going to dismiss early today at 1 PM. This will allow us to have all students safely home and all buses back to campus prior to the predicted onset time of the possible severe storms. All after school practices and activities are canceled. Based on the forecasted end time of the threat of severe weather, we anticipate High School Graduation to move forward at 7 PM as planned, with doors opening at 6 PM. We apologize for the inconvenience this may cause and thank you for your understanding and support of the Kingston K-14 School District.

***CANCELLED*** The HS baseball home game scheduled for tonight has been cancelled due to unplayable field conditions. Senior Night for baseball will now be Monday, 5/12 vs Clearwater.

***CANCELLED*** The JH Baseball game at North County has been cancelled due to unplayable field conditions. This game will not be made up. The Softball game at Meadow Heights has also been cancelled due to unplayable field conditions. This game will also not be made up. The HS Baseball home game is STILL ON as of right now. We will make a final decision at 1:30.

Today is National School Lunch Hero Day! A day to recognize the important role that our food service staff plays in the lives of our students. We appreciate all of our food service staff who work hard each day to feed our students and staff, a role that too often goes unnoticed. Update on Today's Games: As of now the HS Baseball game at Cuba and the Softball home game vs Steelville are still scheduled to be played. Both games will start at 4:30. ***HOWEVER**, we will be moving softball senior night to Next Tuesday, 5/6 vs AV. We will be sure to post updates if cancellations occur.

Tonight in Kingston Sports: ***CANCELLED*** The JH Home baseball game vs West County has been cancelled due to unplayable field conditions. ***PUSHED BACK*** The HS Baseball game at West County has been pushed back to a 6:00 start. They had tarped their field, making it playable. This will be varsity only. Good luck, Cougars!

The last day of Cougar College will be Friday, May 2.

We have experienced a water issue at our Elementary/Primary campus with discolored water intermittently coming out of our faucets. We are providing students bottled water to drink and are serving meals that do not require us to rinse or cook in water for the time being. We have a commercial well company investigating the issue. We have been in contact with the Health Department and the Missouri Department of Natural Resources multiple times in order to keep them updated on the situation and have been assured that we are doing what needs to be done for safety, which is similar to what would be done in the case of a water main break and boil order. If anything changes, we will keep the community updated.

Today in Kingston Sports: ****CANCELLED*** The JH Baseball game at Valley scheduled for tonight has been cancelled due to unplayable field conditions. Our Softball team continues in the MAAA Tournament today vs Potosi at 1:30 at MAC. $5 for adults, $3 for students. Our HS Baseball team is HOME vs Bismarck, 4:30 start, one game only. Good luck today, Cougars!
