
Kingston K-14 School Districe — August 17, 2026 — We are proud to announce that Mrs. Logan-Hollis has been selected as one of 16 semifinalists for the 2027 Missouri Teacher of the Year award by the Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE).
This prestigious recognition celebrates outstanding educators across Missouri who demonstrate excellence in teaching, leadership, innovation, and dedication to their students, schools, and communities.
Mrs. Logan-Hollis’ selection as a semifinalist is a tremendous honor and reflects the positive impact she has made in the lives of her students and colleagues. Through her commitment to creating meaningful learning experiences, supporting student success, and building strong relationships, she exemplifies the qualities of an exceptional Missouri educator.

The Missouri Teacher of the Year program recognizes educators who serve as inspiring examples of excellence in Missouri classrooms. As a semifinalist, Mrs. Logan-Hollis will continue through the selection process as DESE identifies finalists for the 2027 Missouri Teacher of the Year.
