Our community is saddened by the recent passing of Mrs. Heuer, a beloved educator who dedicated 30 years of her life to teaching and inspiring generations of students. Her commitment to education, kindness, and unwavering support for her students left a lasting impact that will not be forgotten.
Mrs. Heuer’s legacy lives on not only in the many lives she touched, but also in the values she instilled—curiosity, compassion, and a love of learning. She was more than a teacher; she was a mentor, a role model, and a cherished member of our school community.
In honor of Mrs. Heuer’s life and contributions, her family has invited those who wish to make a donation in her memory to do so at the Central Office or at any First State Community Bank location. All donations will be used to purchase books and supplies for the elementary school and library, continuing her lifelong mission of supporting education.
All contributions will be made in Mrs. Heuer’s name, ensuring that her passion for learning continues to benefit students for years to come.
