The Kingston K-14 School District proudly celebrated the dedication and achievements of its staff during a special recognition ceremony this week, highlighting milestone years of service and honoring individuals with four special awards for their exceptional contributions.

5 years

Superintendent Dr. Mike Golden and Assistant Superintendent Dr. Jennifer Boyster presented plaques and commemorative lapel pins to staff members marking significant service milestones with the district. Each honoree was recognized for their unwavering commitment to the success and well-being of Kingston K-14 students.

In addition to honoring years of service, staff members were also recognized with four special awards that highlight excellence and character in unique ways:

Heart of the School

  • Heart of the School Award – Celebrating a staff member whose kindness, compassion, and positivity make a daily impact on the school climate and culture.

After Hours

  • After Hours Award – Given to an individual who consistently goes above and beyond outside of normal working hours to support students, staff, and school initiatives.

Newcomers

  • Newcomer of the Year Award – Honoring an outstanding first-year staff member who has made an immediate and meaningful impact.

Helping Hand

  • Helping Hand Award – Recognizing a team player who is always ready to lend support, assist colleagues, and contribute wherever needed.

Each award recipient was acknowledged in front of their peers and presented with a certificate and token of appreciation. Their stories and accomplishments were met with enthusiastic applause and heartfelt gratitude.
